15 June 2017/ Wedding Wedding Review “We hired Helen McConnell photography for our wedding and I found Helen & her team to be very professional, responding quickly to my emails & extremely patient with my queries, she is approachable and fantastic at what she does. We are not from Brisbane and only met Helen on the day, she immediately put me at ease with her easy going personality, I am not a model by any means but after no time at all I was posing like a pro! A lot of the appeal with her photographs is that not all the shots are posed, we found her very unobtrusive on the day, getting the set up shots we needed but also capturing those natural photos that just can’t be planned. Their ideas & angles are sometimes a bit left field making for extraordinary photos you never thought you would or could get. On the day Ruth was our second photographer and she was just as lovely, both ladies fit in with us and our personalities so well I should have had them as guests once the photos were done! The quantity of photos we received back well & truly exceeded expectation, these photos will help us relive our day forever. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Helen McConnell Photography for your wedding, event or any special moments in your life, should we find ourselves back in Brisbane during any future events I will definitely be calling on her again. The only advice I can give to any upcoming bride is to allow enough time for photos, we were on a tight schedule allowing only 1 ½ hours after the ceremony for pictures and thanks to me being a traditional late bride we only ended up with about an hour Because of that we did miss out on certain photos we would have loved but that is no fault of Helen McConnell Photography, just time constraints.
