Vue de Lumineres Maleny – Nicole & Nathaniel

14 June 2017/ Wedding Congratulations to Nicole & Nathaniel! We had a wonderful day with them at Maleny!! We started with them getting ready at the accommodation at Vue de Lumineres. Nicole looks absolutely stunning, like a princess!! And Nathaniel looked very smart too. Their ceremony was held in the stunning Maleny Botanic Gardens!! What a fabulous area for a wedding ceremony!! Luckily Nicole & Nathaniel had the foresight to organise a marquee for the ceremony to be held in. It was perfect, open on the front side so that everyone could see the gorgeous view!! Nicole arrived in a beautiful Jaguar courtesy of Kenz Classic Cars. After the ceremony we went straight into group and family shots, watching the huge storm clouds gathering in the distant. Just as we finished the family shots we all had to run for cover!! Thank you marquee!! Me not wanting to waste precious time while it absolutely poured down with rain, I set the couple up for photographs under the marquee. I positioned them under the marquee with the clear dome umbrellas and using some of my specialty lighting equipment I took some awesome photographs making it look like they were in the rain! I’m just so clever!! ;) The rain started to clear within an hour so off we went to get some photographs up at the lake. We didn’t have much time by now as the rain took up most of our timeline! We took some stunning shots in the cute little jetty on the lake and then we raced back to the car to go up to the beautiful reception venue, Vue de Lumineres, for their fun-filled reception and also hoping to get some more sunset shots with the beautiful venue in the background. Well, plans of mice and men (and Mother Nature) prevented us from that. Upon arriving back up on the mountain it was a total white-out!! So foggy you could barely see the venue, let alone a sunset! I’m so happy I persevered with the sunset shots on the lake!! The rain didn’t bother Nicole & Nathaniel, or the guests for that matter!! The beautiful couple had spent much time organising the most fun-filled reception I’ve ever been to, with lots of games and fantastic music. Their MC Glen from G&M DJs was fantastic! It definitely is worth it to hire a professional MC who also is a DJ! Everything ran perfectly and Nicole and Nathaniel didn’t have to worry about a thing! So I promised Nicole & Nathaniel a sneak preview of a few of their stunning images to see while they’re on their honeymoon!
